POST:    Chief Executive Officer, Citizens Advice Croydon

RESPONSIBLE TO:    Trustee Board through the Chair

SALARY:        circa £50,000 (depending on experience)
                       We comply with the government legislation on pension auto-enrolment OR will make up to 5% matching contribution to a                                         personal pension.

HOURS:    Full-time (35 hours per week) permanent post. Part-time considered (minimum 21 hours per week)

LOCATION:            South Norwood, London, SE25

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is dynamic and has vision and commitment, to become Chief Executive of Citizens Advice Croydon. This person will combine hands-on management with strong fundraising qualities to develop the service in Croydon.  We are looking for someone to work with the Trustee Board in carrying out its governance responsibilities and developing the service in response to a changing and challenging climate.  The Chief Executive will need to work in partnership with the local authority, local voluntary organisations and build relationships with other relevant networks.  A key requirement of the role will be to actively seek new sources of funding in order to maintain and expand on the services that we offer.

Whilst based at our office in Portland Road, London SE25, you may be required to travel within Croydon and London. Occasional travel beyond may be required.  Previous experience in the charitable sector is essential. Citizens Advice experience would be desirable.
